W. Michael Lewis

If you ask him, he'll tell you that the "W." stands for "Wombat".  I think it stands for "Waycool", 'cause he definitely is...
The roster of groups he's played with is downright amazing...

The Standells

The We Five

The Grass Roots

Spirit

Mark Lindsay

He was Liberace's Music Director and arranger.  He produced three Liberace albums.
He did the theme music for Barbara Walter's TV specials...
He did the soundtrack for the TV show "In Search Of", narrated by Mr. Spock, er, Leonard Nimoy...

He also did the music for the TV show "Cops", along with others...
He and a partner produced HIT disco tunes...
He has also worked with:

Frankie Valli

DeBarge

Sherman Hemsley (George Jefferson!)

There are a BUNCH more, I know, but I just can't remember them all at the moment.

(OK, I've got brain damage.  And I EARNED every bit of it!)

Michael and associates have formed a new Music Company.  Checkitout...

He's about the NICEST fellow you could wanna meet.
Michael plays keyboards for Diamond Dave Somerville, who was the original lead singer of The Diamonds.

The Diamonds did Little Darlin', The Stroll, and whole bunch of other tunes.

Diamond Dave contributed backing vocals to Shape Shifter.

I think Diamond Dave is THE coolest guy there is.  At 71!  (He gives me hope...)

Keep your eyes open for "oldies" shows in your area, and if Dave is on it, do yourself a favor and checkitout.  Almost ALL of the "oldies" groups are great, for that matter.

Watch for Michael playing with the Diamonds in the Magic Moments show on the PBS station in your area!  It's GREAT...
