Michael plays keyboards for Diamond Dave Somerville, who was the original
lead singer of The Diamonds. The Diamonds did Little Darlin', The Stroll, and whole bunch of other tunes. Diamond Dave contributed backing vocals to Shape Shifter. I think Diamond Dave is THE coolest guy there is. At 71! (He gives me hope...) Keep your eyes open for "oldies" shows in your area, and if Dave is on it, do yourself a favor and checkitout. Almost ALL of the "oldies" groups are great, for that matter. |
